Established in 2006, the band has an extensive song catalog, including making records with Steve Albini and currently on the DC-Jam label. Coming out of the fog of COVID isolation, bandleader Casey Virock (vocals/guitar) rebooted the line-up, making a 4-piece capable of an expansive and ambitious sound that continues to push the band forward. Porcupine's new full-length record, Our Chemistry is a Tightrope, builds on its roots and sound that draws fans in, while taking risks and unexpected turns. Coming off an active 2023, including support for Dinosaur Jr. at Milwaukee's Summerfest, the long awaited LP is moving Porcupine forward in 2024.
