The music here is certainly fierce and tenacious, living up to the title of the album. Performed aggressively, but within solid structure. The band put together blast beats in a fashion that is appealing and doesn't become monotonous. It is quite credible to the band that they are able to avoid the potential of becoming generic for the most part. Fans of the style of Obituary or Morbid Angel should find a lot to enjoy here, for example. In fact, there's a solid cover of "Day of Suffering" to be found. There are enough shifts and changes to pull the listener into what's being performed consistently throughout. An example of the ability of the band to morph as they progress is "Mental Retardation", which brings about new tempos and progressions throughout its running length. No matter how much Resurrected changes, they are able to maintain a reasonable amount of groove. The performances are all tight, particularly in the guitar department. The vocals are a little raspy, but manage to fit well with the remainder of the music present. The band is to be following paths that have been taken many times, but in the end do a fairly solid job adding their own touches to mix. Re-released on the CD format, jewel box. This comes recommended in particular to fans of the bands such as Obituary, Morbid Angel, Death, Morgoth, Bolt Thrower or Massacre.
