Guitarist/composer, Sheryl Bailey, along with her tightly knit organ trio, serve up 12 new original tunes, along with some simpatico ensemble playing and blistering solos. This is a well-oiled working unit, having performed and toured extensively for the last 5 years, hence the title, “A Meeting of Minds.” These are three musicians engaged in deep communication and in motion as one.
Organist Ron Oswanski is the heart and soul of this trio, grooving from the bottom end, and spinning complex melodies and harmonies on the top, with drum master, Ian Froman creating exhilarating rhythmic textures and accents, while Bailey soars above, around and in and out.
