SPIDER KICKERS was formed in 1986, in Ioannina, in the brave state called Epirus, Greece. The band is one of the oldest cult bands still playing in Greece today. The music of SPIDER KICKERS is best described as Thrash Metal with Death Metal influences. In Early 2006 SPIDER KICKERS signed a deal with Sleaszy Rider Records and their third album (but first official full-lenght) "VIII Division" released on 2007. After many gigs again (with Brocas Helm, Rotting Christ etc) the band released their 2nd album "Alcoholic", on January 2011. After that, they played again many gigs around Greece with bands like Sodom, Rotting Christ etc and prepared the third album, "The Hill Of The Dead". Recorded in Infinite Loop studios in Ioannina, owned by Kostas Kalampokas, guitarist of the band, who decided to leave them for personal reasons when the recordings finished. New band's guitarist is Panos Kaides, member of Circle's Line. On 2015 theyre-released through our label their rare 7" "The Kingdom Of Epirus" (since 1993) on cd, incl. 2 bonus tracks, and played many gigs again, 2017 was a special year for Spider Kickers, as they played for first time outside of Greece: on May 2019 they played in Sofia, Bulgaria as support to Rotting Christ, on July they played in a festival in Cyprus with Sacred Steel, Blynd and other bands, and on 30 November/1st December of 2017 they played once again as support band to Rotting Christ on their 2 sold-out shows in Cluz-Napoca in Romania! On April 2018 they played again in Bulgaria, this time in Burgas, as support to Rotting Christ, and with their amazing on stage appearance they proved why Rotting Christ choose them to play together! Some more live appearances followed on 2019, with Rotting Christ in their hometown Ioannina and to a festival in Arta with Diviner, etc. And finally they finished their most mature album ever, their brandnew "Ektroma", that we will release in Europe on Friday, 20 September 2019 and in North America on 10 October 2019!
