The band was founded in Munich, Germany, in 1993. After the worldwide release of five CDs and extensive touring with bands like Blind Guardian or Grave Digger and concerts with Hammerfall, Accept and Powerwolf, STORMHAMMER is now going to release the new album "Welcome To The End" in late March 2017 via Massacre Records! The album features the same line-up as the predecessor "Echoes Of A Lost Paradise". The band continued to improve itself and offers a more consistent sound; the whole production itself has been lifted to a higher level. The album "Welcome to the End " contains 12 songs; a varied blend of a true power metal and fast thrash elements. The songs itself capture the listener with its intensity and an always present groove. STORMHAMMER is currently planning an European tour to promote the new album.
