The Flamingos were one of the most polished groups of the 1950s doo-wop boom. Their career, like so many other collectives at the time, was challenged by numerous line-up changes, contractual issues and hopping between labels to find commercial successes. Despite not having the commercial recognition they deserved, The Flamingos left behind an enduring body of work with some of the finest and most unique close harmony tracks of the 50s.
