On The Fugitives' "No Help Coming" the JUNO nominated folk four-piece tie the complexities of families, partners and friendships into the climate emergency's ever present priority. "It was really important to us that it sounded personal," says Brendan McLeod, who, alongside Adrian Glynn, wrote all the songs on the recording. The group are rounded out by violinist Carly Frey (The Coal Porters) and banjo player Chris Suen (Viper Central). Producer Tom Dobrzanski rounds out the recording team. "'No Help Coming', to us, isn't a negative," says Glynn. "It means humanity's alone in this, but we're alone in this together."
