Why Hansel and Gretel for an album? Why a witch? Why cannibal? In short, why a fairy tale can express so much, arouse so much charm? Because it's a story in which, there are no good and bad, but mostly there are no good. For centuries, fairy tales have amused and scared generations of people but at the same time have been sweetened by the powers, the rulers and lightened by religions. Hansel and Gretel represent the fake immaculate, they are greedy and ruthless in the tale. They are, as like much of humanity, subjugated by the powers and arrogant with the weak. And above all, the children are really innocent? We are all blinded by false freedom, by the illusions as represented by marzipan house and sweets. Illusions that make us victims and executioners at the same time, we, human beings that engulf and corrupt the environment that hosts us. The fantastic is often the reality seen through a mirror free from dogma, it is emotional adventure, it denounces the rigid and misleading systems. From the musical point of view the album is pushed towards post-metal and towards a very obscure psychedelic, accentuating even more the metal vein of the previous "Viridanse". The songs sound very direct and "live", like those that were made in the seventies, we have recorded playing together, in an absolutely amazing atmosphere.
