A black saga that began Anno Sathanas 2009. The summer was approaching as the three Wan norsemen Isengrim, Aganaroth and Tsjud decided to join their unholy forces. The mutual aim was to celebrate Satan, chaos and the mighty northern darkness. The result was the grim birth of WAN, a musical tribute to all pagan souls and to the never dying, old school Metal scene.

Press Quotes

'The music is very simplistic which I really like, it is they type of music that you have to bang your head when listening to it. If you are looking for raw and harsh Black Metal inspired by the ancient gods of the Black Metal genre look no further. Wan will rape your mind!!'

     —Minacious webzine

'Wan’s modus operandi is full-on fast and furious old-school Black Metal, diabolical, raging and not a little contagious... ...It’s early days for Wan, given that they formed only about a year ago, but “Wolves of the North” is an achievement of which they can be rightly proud, a well-written and performed exercise in nostalgic, bestial Black Metal hatred.'

     —Hierophant Nox

'While there may be bands out there that are technically or production wise more advanced and evolved, Wan is one of the more convincing and spirited black / thrash crossovers of the last few years.'

     —Masterful Magazine
