WARPATH, originally formed in 1991, reunited in 2015 after they went on hiatus in 1996. Sharing the stage with bands like Sodom, Gorefest, Forbidden and Holy Moses in the 90's, WARPATH graced the billing of festivals, such as Headbangers Open Air or Metal Bash, after their reunion and headlined the Glockenschlag in Hamburg, where they kicked major ass in front of 1500 people. Double headliner shows with Totenmond, gigs all around Germany and an appearance at the Bang You Head!!! Festival in 2016 helped to spread the word that WARPATH is finally back again! In 2015, WARPATH still had its original line-up. In 2016 and after 19 years, the band once again entered the studio, but with a new line-up, to record new material. The new album "Bullets For A Desert Session" was recorded at the Absurd Studio in Hamburg in June 2016. 12 tracks that were written starting in October 2014 and finalized with the mix and mastering by Eike Freese (Heaven Shall Burn, Deep Puple, Eisbrecher, Endseeker) in October 2016! WARPATH stayed true to themselves, offering their signature mix between hardcore/thrash/doom and death metal. High-speed tracks like "Reborn" or "Unseen Enemy", groovy songs like "Believe" and "I Don't Care" as well as heavy tunes like "Crossing" and the title track offer a cross section of an album that's both spontaneous as well as well-thought-out, and which combines old-school trademarks with a modern sound!
