The band Xanadu was founded in May 2008 by a couple of local musicians, who felt the need to play ambitious music with a hint on melancholy, yet with some rock inside. Until the time the promo album was recorded in the current lineup ("Violent Dream" - summer 2010) the band was working on their unique sound and compositions, settling the lineup. In our music we try to bind our personal musical fascinations, put them together to create some universal message. Everlasting searching, existence awareness and real space make us interpret feeling through music and pictures our way. Everything evolves, so our music does, so it is hart to predict where we all end up. "The Last Sunrise" is an intelligent mixture of ambitious and emotional music with significant rock character. The debut album "The Last Sunrise" is 7 exceptional pieces constituting the essence of prog rock. Both the music and vocal layer make it a unique album on the world level.
